This glass is finally clear I know now what's been happening here Never will I take you back again this time One too many times that I have wasted on you Time that I could have spent with someone else To make me feel alive again You scream into the sky Reminisce, reminisce all of the times you gave me the runaround Yes or no, stay or go Shed some light into this sick reality of a place that we call home Please don't send your love on broken wings It doesn't even matter Throw it up and hope it shatters This broken memory has come back in patterns And I know, I know this story all too well You scream into the sky Reminisce, reminisce all of the times you gave me the runaround Yes or no, stay or go Shed some light into this sick reality of a place that we call home Please don't send your love on broken wings Forget me like a broken memory Like a broken memory Forget me like a broken memory You scream into the sky Reminisce, reminisce all of the times you gave me the runaround Yes or no, stay or go Shed some light into this sick reality of a place that we call home Please don't send your love on broken wings

My Own Hands 03:54
Your open eyes exorcize all my facades They peer inside, throwing daggers at my throat I remember that day you told me, and I quote, I've got my own way of doing things, of doing things Hold me close until it means something You're not the one to settle for anything Indifference is on the tip of my tongue But I'll never know My brain left my body long ago Anxious sweat manifests obvious intentions And I fear I've lost my imagination She said, "Boredom is the killer of muses, But brooding like this is completely useless" Hold me close until it means something You're not the one to settle for anything Indifference is on the tip of my tongue But I'll never know My brain left my body long ago So what are you doing? I'm running away Where are you going? I really can't say I'm brushing dust off my plans And I'm putting my life back into my own hands, my own hands It took me so long to realize that you were the page that I fell asleep on And I've got my own way of doing things

Empty Rooms 03:17
Misspent youth, empty rooms Hellish mess, laid to rest To be rid of this place Giants waves that I've swam Never concerned about who I am And when the night comes And everything comes rushing in It's your voice that pierces through And brings me right back again You're the heart underneath my floorboards How long until she catches on? How long until she catches on? And when the night comes And everything comes rushing in It's your voice that pierces through And brings me right back again Every time I try to peel back the paint flecks from your eyes You always get away with it You always get away So tell me now, does this make us even? So tell me now, just say that you're leaving Say that you're leaving And when the night comes And everything comes rushing in It's your voice that pierces through And brings me right back again

Erase 03:34
I know you'll never see this But it's not for you, it's for me I've been keeping myself together Ever since you made the choice to leave Now I can't say it was easy But it started to feel like the best part Nothing left to do but start over My only light has left me in the dark Your regrets, around your neck I can finally breathe since you left You'll never erase this You have so many faces But I know you live for the attention, don't mention my name You can't escape the past I'm the one who's laughing last See, you didn't take away the colors Out of the eyes of everyone I know Block out the sun, you couldn't manage Or pull me down in the undertow I wasn't too late to lose my pride This has been a work of heart You'll never move, or break the cycle So, what's another life ripped apart? Your regrets, around your neck I can finally breathe since you left You'll never erase this You have so many faces But I know you live for the attention, don't mention my name You can't escape the past I'm the one who's laughing last I hope that this gets hard to swallow That I'm leaving you far behind Let's just call it what it is, darling That we were blind to the caution signs I never knew the air could taste this sweet Never thought I'd find peace so easily Did the worst in me bring out the best in you? Your regrets, around your neck I can finally breathe since you left You'll never erase this You have so many faces But I know you live for the attention, don't mention my name You can't escape the past I'm the one who's laughing last
5.
When you say that you have nothing else to live for Cause everything has fallen apart But even at the end of the mightiest storm Shines a brighter light Raising the colors of a rainbow Don't let them pull you down Don't let your feet touch the ground They say, "That we all have a purpose" And I'm sure that what we chose was worth this Don't think your life is worthless, don't think your life is worthless It's the art of staying alive I don't think you know the hold you have on me Your words cut sharp like a knife that's pressed on my skin It's a reminder of who I've been And who I will never be again Who I will never be again Don't let them pull you down Don't let your feet touch the ground They say, "That we all have a purpose" And I'm sure that what we chose was worth this Don't think your life is worthless, don't think your life is worthless It's the art of staying alive Feed them ignorance with both hands One day they'll understand Feed them ignorance with both hands One day they'll understand Can we survive, can we survive One day they'll understand One more day, one more day One day they'll understand

about

Born & raised in Orange County, California, siblings Michelle & Richi Molina had long considered music the end all, be all. They became quick regulars at their local respective music venues & supported the local scene. Having found success in previous bands, they found the missing element to their sound in Darnell Calderon, a multi-talented musician who joined as lead guitarist to form Reinventing Your Exit.

Produced by the brilliant Anthony Barro, former bassist of New Years Day, the work behind this debut EP spanned over 5 months at his in-home studio. Combining influences of Progressive melodics, ferocious Post-Hardcore, and the fun catchiness of Pop Punk, this ambitious EP aims to make a definitive mark.
